Do you accept insurance?

I wish to dedicate my time & effort in supporting your mental, emotional, physical & spiritual health, as well as meeting your goals. For this reason & due to the complexities of managed care with excessive paperwork & third party decision-makers, as well as confidentiality reasons & the negative impacts of a mental health disorder diagnosis on your medical record, please understand that I am a private pay, out-of-network provider. You are responsible for paying for services directly.

Some services may qualify for reimbursement through your HSA, FSA, health insurance out-of-network benefits, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or other programs offered through your employer. Let me know if you are interested in using any of your benefits & I can provide a superbill (receipt of services).

Superbill: If you have PPO health insurance that covers mental health services provided by Out-of-Network Providers, a superbill can be prepared for you to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement of fees paid. There is the possibility that you may not be reimbursed for services provided, and it is your duty to check eligibility with your provider first.

We work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link:

Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist we do not benefit in any way from your participation.

What forms of payment are accepted?

For Baby Bump Bundles, payment plans are available - please reach out for more information.

Can I bring my baby with me to in office appointments?

Yes, baby in arms are always welcome to accompany you to your appointments! I know it’s hard to get away, so I want to accommodate you in any way possible to help you get to your scheduled appointments with ease. I also offer telehealth services so you can reap the benefits of your therapy appointments within the comfort of your own home.

Do you offer online appointments outside of California?

I am licensed in the state of California so only offer therapy services within my state of practice.

I want to see you, but how come therapy costs so much?

The cost of therapy is a direct testament to your worth. Your bank account reflects what you value. As a mom it is so difficult to get time for yourself - but your mental health depends on it. Putting yourself first may feel selfish & produce a lot of guilt, but it is the best thing you can do for your children & family. You can’t be present and care for others when you are not taking the time out to care for yourself. Maybe you don’t feel like you’re worth it, but I can guarantee you your baby thinks you are. Let me support you so you can fully be there for your baby. There are seasons of giving & seasons of receiving in life. The beginning of motherhood is a season of receiving. Now’s the time to receive because later you can give back.

Furthermore, the therapeutic relationship is the biggest predictor of your success in treatment. When choosing a therapist you want to make sure you are finding the best fit for you. This is oftentimes not possible when relying on a list from your insurance company. Book a free 15-minute consultation with me now.
